Please adhere to the following when taking class: Address the Head Teacher as Laoshi ( Laao Shir )
Address the Assistant Teacher as Zhujiao ( Ju Ji Ao )
Always have Shirts Tucked in
Never be Late for Class
No jewellery to be worn as it cuts yourself and partner in partner work
Class, although very serious, must be enjoyed
Always stop at door, place equipment bags and weapons down then greet training room and Teachers with "Right Fist in Left Palm" Chinese Formal Greeting, then continue
No smoking or alcohol is allowed to be smelt or seen by other students or Teachers
Teachers & DISCIPLEs of the School are NOT ALLOWED Alcohol or Cigarettes ever, no exceptions, not ever, not on any day of the year at all.
Should you come early then practice is in order
School fees, although not very high, do cover teacher costs, travelling, teaching and venue etc. Please remember to pay early, this shows respect
Talking after class, all students are welcome to stay and chat or ask questions after class
No discussion of Religion, Politics, or Students' / Teachers' personal lives is allowed in school, not at all under no circumstances, doing this always causes problems and thus doing so is punishable by being banned from the school immediately
As it is our policy to push those that want more and those that work harder, the Teachers are going to push those that skip class LESS and all classes are entered into register so this will be noted and constantly checked, and assessed
Any injuries or damage to property or person whether, directly or indirectly caused by any student or teacher or guest will be for the damaged person's own account and the school and it's teachers cannot be held responsible for any damage whatsoever

for Students, Disciples and Teachers
Clothing & Hygiene :
Clothing must be as specified on the Class Page of the website.
Shoes, Lightweight and Flexible, Must be Worn.
No Jewellery during Class, as this may cut Yourself or your Partner
Brushed Teeth, Trimmed Fingernails, Combed Hair, always.
Chewing Gum Forbidden.
Respect :
Address senior students with respect, address teachers with titles
Head of the school is Called Laoshi (Laoo Shir). ONLY DISCIPLEs may call their Teacher, "Sifu"
NEVER address any teacher with Sifu, except yours and if you are a disciple.
Students will always respect their seniors.
Students will always respect the DISCIPLEs.
Students will always Respect the Teachers.
Students will always Respect Visitors.
Do not Criticise anyone doing kungfu ever.
Do not correct others unless you have been asked to help your juniors to do so.
Do not show off.
Do not compare yourself to Other Students.
No cameras or cellphones allowed.
Being Late & Leaving Early :
Do not be late, rather be early and warm up,
Do not Leave Early.
Should you be late, stand aside and wait for the teacher to ask you to join, Do NOT just join in when late, under NO circumstances.
Questions :
Do not not ask questions till after the class.In Class :
The senior students stand on the left and the juniors on the right, this order is created by method of testing.Entering or Leaving Training Area :
You must place all stuff down then salute the room and Teachers before entering or leaving the room, no exceptions. The salute is the Right Fist in the Left Palm.
Weapons :
Do not touch any weapons that do not belong to you, unless instructed to do so.
Do not bang weapons on floor or walls etc.
Carry swords and sticks behind back or lying on or behind your arm.Sparring :
Always salute before and after sparring even if sparring is for 10 seconds.Outside the School :
You are expected to represent the school always with best behaviour.Teaching :
The school does not allow any student to teach outside of the school, Not for Money, Not for FREE, not ever. The only time you may do so is when you have a certificate from the school saying you may do so. Even then whilst you are a student you may only teach students of Ming Kung Fu.
for VISITORS (Parents & Friends & New Students)
Visitors are NOT allowed unless permission is granted by the Head of the school.
Should permission be granted then the visitors must follow the same rules as above for the students.
for DISCIPLES only
DISCIPLE Clothing & Hygiene :
You will wear the standard uniform as is specified for all DISCIPLEs.
Disciples will arrive and leave classes fully dressed, not change after arriving or before leaving, keeping belts relevant to the class on at all times.
DISCIPLE Respect :
Address senior students with respect, address teachers with titles
Your Teacher will be called Sifu / Si Hing etc depending on the situation.
Alcohol is Never allowed, not on birthdays, or xmas or ever, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Addictive substances (cigarettes drugs etc) is not allowed EVER, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Weekly Fast is COMPULSORY.
Charity Action (Small Weekly, or Large Monthly, or HUGE annually) is compulsory.Disciples will carry the lowly title of Sidai (small brother) until he does the rite of passage, and the theory exam and the other requirements that are need to become full disciple and then will be Given the Title of Si Hing (Older Brother), and only when this title of SiHing is taken will he be full disciple.
DISCIPLE Being Late & Leaving Early :
Being late or leaving early or missing class will ALWAYS be rewarded with 5 Lashes with Chinese Cane, NO exceptions.
DISCIPLE In Class :
DISCIPLEs will Always Stand Furtherest Left in the Class Formation.
Or infront of the formation when graded Red Dan 1 or Higher (Grade 5)DISCIPLE Sparring :
Will never show off and ALWAYS under play abilities, NO EXCEPTIONS.DISCIPLE Outside the School :
You are expected to represent the school always with best behaviour, in and out of kungfu situations.DISCIPLE Teaching :
Should the DISCIPLE teach he/she will then have to get permission from the Sifu first then only will this be allowed to be to Ming Kung Fu Students.If the disciple has Red Dan 1 (Grade 5) or higher then that disciple may teach, as long as the Sifu knows exactly where and when this is done at all times.
DISCIPLE Discipline :
The disciple is a prefect of the kung fu school and will be asked to control and sometimes discipline students as is directed. This may be difficult as this means disciplining friends, but has to be done.
Disciples will help and teach the other students about the rules and greetings and respect of the school.DISCIPLE Assistance :
The disciple will always assist the school in marketing, administartive or strategic plan actions that might include evnts and competitions etc.DISCIPLE Role Model :
The disciple will be a role model for the other students to look upto, and ensure that they want to be like the disciple, morally as well as an athlete.DISCIPLE Fitness :
The disciple will hold longer, jump higher and stance lower than all the students, he will push harder and persevere more than anyone in class, no matter what the work.for TEACHERS
Teachers will uphold the Law of the school and always teach clearly and responsibly as is directed from time to time by the Head Laoshi of the school.
